A Brief History
Thorcon Shotcrete and Shoring is based out of Littleton, Colorado. As a Colorado native company, most of our completed and ongoing work is located here. In the sunshine state, we have completed everything from sculpted shotcrete walls and pools to infrastructure for the Department of Transportation.
We have over 40 years of experience and resources to complete any job no matter the size or difficulty. Thorcon services the entire state of Colorado from the from the eastern plains to the front range and beyond.

Architectural Shotcrete
After the engineering and construction of walls, many owners go a step further in the appearance of the wall. Sculpted Shotcrete is one of many choices.
Colorado Stabilization Services Include:
- Shotcrete - a procedure where low moisture cement is sprayed through a nozzled hose at high speed onto a surface to frame a particular basic shape such as walls, floors, and rooftops. Shotcrete may be combined with many other services listed here to stabilize a structure.
- Soil-nailing - all-thread steel bars inserted into the earth through rotary or percussion drilling and installed at a designed angle.
- Micropiles - high tensile-strength, threaded steel rods which are embedded in the earth during or after drilling.
- Tiebacks - for retaining wall support and stabilization used mostly in top-down construction.
- Rock-bolting - A support and stabilization technique where large anchors are placed deep into a rock surface.
